What does a business partner do?
You are responsible for building the business in your territory, by performing marketing activities (e.g. distributing fliers, checking press releases, doing interviews, sending direct e-mail, personal contact, helping with translation of online ads and posters at events). The website networking facility makes your customer base grow quickly. You are also responsible for answering customer questions in your territory, in writing, using our web based easy to use customer services functionality.
What revenues can I expect?
Registration and basic services are free. Subscriptions give access to advanced services for a few euros/dollars per month. You get a percentage of revenues in your territory.
Do I have to quit my job or my sport to do this?
No, you can start this next to your current job or your sporting endeavours if you want to. After the initial translation work you will need about 3 hours per week.
What do I need to get the business started?
An up to date computer with a high speed Internet connection, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Skype, a webcam and a headset incl. microphone. Plus time and energy to make it happen!
How do I qualify?
You are fluent in the language(s) in your territory and you are knowledgable about your given sport. Your English is good enough to communicate with headquarters. You are a positive, customer oriented person. You have good communication skills (oral and in writing). You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you feel comfortable in our company culture: open, honest, direct, fair, respect, passion, fun, marketing & business driven, work hard & play hard. You run or want to run your own business. Preferably you have many sports industry contacts and participate in sports yourself. We will prioritize (ex)topsporters from less well known sports.
How about my local language?
Languages can easily be added, provided that the web pages layout can remain the same, and the character sets are available to us. You deliver the texts, we make it work!
Do I do this all alone?
Why not do this with two or three people? Together you can have more impact, share experience, be each others backup. Who could you share this with? You are part of the e-sporters business partner network to share what works and what doesn’t. e-sporters headquarters coaches and guides.
